Brian Whiting

Brian Whiting is a Somerville native. He’s been fishing since he was 6 years old, and kayak fishing since 2013. He’s part of Central Jersey Kayak Bass Fishing Club, and through that, participates in TouneyX and KBF. He also participates in the TKAA and YakAttack tournaments for the past four years. He’s guided the New Jersey chapter of Hero’s on the Water, and volunteered with HOW for the past four years. “The passion for taking our veterans out is one of the greatest feelings.”

His favorite kayak fishing memory is taking his daughter Isabella out on a kayak for the first time when she was just three years old. He spends his days working in the landscape business.
