Cody Carpenter is a Texan who has been fishing for 35 years, and kayak fishing for ten years. “I kayak fish for the simplicity of the sport and conservationism that naturally comes along with kayak fishing. I want to share my knowledge and experience with my community to push future generations of anglers off the bank.”
While he doesn’t participate in tournaments, he regularly volunteers with his local DFW HOW chapter. He also helped start a program with his local library to “check out” fishing equipment for kids to enjoy the sport of fishing. His favorite kayak fishing memory is catching his first double digit bass in Arkansas from his Bonafide SS127.
“You gotta go where the fish are.”
