Dominick Greco

Matlacha, FL

From Queens, New York, Dominick Greco has been fishing professionally for over thirty-five years. His career in kayak fishing started in the early 80s, and he loves it because of its stealth factor. He was formally a premier pro staff member for Ocean Kayak and Johnson Outdoors, and is excited to have the opportunity to represent Bonafide Kayaks as part of the team. He started Kayak Charters, a full service kayak company, and is now opening a pro kayak shop called Apex Aqua Adventures that will not only be a Bonafide dealership, but it will also carry both YakAttack and Werner products, along with Gary Yamamoto Custom Baits. He started working with Heroes on the Water early on and several other outfits that promote the sport and donates his time to kids camps with the City of Cape Coral to get kids away from video games and out on the water. He is celebrating his tenth year as the City of Cape Corals Kayak, Fishing, and Survival instructor. He also helped establish the Blueway Trail in Southwest Florida in the beginning stages with the Lee County Convention Bureau.

He pro staffs for Bass Pro Shops as well, and caught a 17 lb. largemouth bass in Florida that would have set the state record. However, since it was a female, he was more interested in allowing it to procreate. His greatest kayak fishing memories are watching the kids at the camps that he volunteers at catch fish. He finds it to be rewarding and fun.

As a 35+ professional in the kayak and fishing industry, I have formally been premier pro staff for both Ocean Kayak and Johnson Outdoors. I have never been so excited to see the sport growing and a company like Bonafide taking the industry by storm. I am honored to represent the Bonafide company and help educate and get more people out on the water kayaking and kayak fishing than ever before.”
