Seth Dalton
Seth grew up fishing the lakes and rivers of East Tennessee while mostly targeting Largemouth and Smallmouth Bass. In 2005, military orders brought him to the Sunshine State and he has been focused on saltwater fishing ever since. Realizing the benefits of being extremely portable and having increased access to a lot of places where other boats can’t, Seth decided to make the switch to kayak fishing about 5 years ago and hasn’t looked back. Navarre, FL, is one of the few places which has access to inshore grass flats, off shore reefs within kayak range, fresh water rivers, and lakes making it a kayak anglers dream come true. Typically Seth is paddling the grass flats in search of redfish and speckled trout and makes the frequent offshore trip for reef and pelagic species. His 2018 plans entail loading up his Bonafide SS127 and SS107 fishing kayaks and traveling to different parts of the country with the goal of targeting new species.
“The sport of kayak fishing has changed my life for the better. I’ve met some amazing friends along the way and also got to help set up and run a local kayak shop for the past few years.”
