Esteban Gutierrez

Esteban Gutierrez has been fishing for his entire life, but started professionally in 2008 when he retired from the US Navy in 2008. He started kayak fishing two years later. For him, kayak fishing is the most organic way to fish. It puts you closer to nature and allows you to get to places others can’t go to while providing more challenges, which make you a better angler. He has organized the Southwest Florida Heroes Inshore Slam Fishing Tournament for the past five years in benefit of the Southwest Florida chapter of Heroes on the Water as chapter coordinator. He also us a professional guide and appears regularly as a special guest on the The Kayak Fishing Show with Jim Sammons.
